    Michelle contacted me for help with CCTY Bearing (Chinese company) website, and I honored several of her requests for free initial questions and consultation. After several days and question after question, she wanted a (free) phone call, which I didn’t honor. She continued promising me she’d confirm everything on this day or that day and never did, and kept asking for more free consulting until I said we needed to proceed immediately otherwise I couldn’t keep stringing this out (she wanted another week without paying me, just more back and forth… after doing this several times already). I said it was unprofessional to keep asking for free consulting and technically I had already given her a few hours of consulting based on her previous deadline promise on proceeding, her response was “blocking” and ghosting me.

    Legally she owes me nothing, but ethical business would have paid for the consulting at least and moved along.

    Very unprofessional, uses people for tons of free advice and never pays them, lots of false promises
